Tomorrow will start the final phase of the Sevilla Tennis Cup with games in which we can see Casper Ruud, champion of the 2016 Cup, or the debut of Alejandro Davidovich at night, one of the guests of this edition.
The second day of the preliminary phase has left in the Sevilla Cup an intense morning of tennis that ended with eight winners who will look for the morning of this Monday one of the four places to enter the table of the final phase.
The eight games played this Sunday have resulted in a list of eight winners - three of them Spaniards - who will look for a place in the final draw in the first hours of competition on Monday. In two of these clashes, victory has come because of the withdrawal of their opponents. In the third set David Perez Sanz has retired, giving the pass to the third round to Roberto Ortega. The retirement of the French Maxime Janvier has led, in turn, the pass of the Slovak Alex Molcan. Mario Vilella and Bernabé Zapata have been two other champions who will be in the third qualifying round.
The other four players who complete the last squares of the table of the previous phase are: Laurynas Grigelis, Kimmer Copejans, Johan Tatlot and Marko Djokovic. All have passed without too many difficulties to the next round, which, for the first time, will be held on the same day that the final phase of the Sevillian challenger begins. The four games that leave the last four members of the final table will be played at 10.30 in the morning of Monday opening the day and simultaneously.
